Sandboxed the unofficial freedom v0.98 fork that fishy.moe was mirroring and found it doing far more than a cheat has any reason to, then brought the report to us. ✦One of a kind✦
The underground's original makeshift cheat. Gone, but never forgotten.
A skin, not a program. It redraws osu!taiko so a taiko map reads like a mania chart, and it does it by replacing taiko's round don and kat circles with the same flat vertical note bars mania uses. Nothing is injected and nothing is patched, which is exactly why where it stands depends on who is asking.

The whole client, compiled to WebAssembly, on the same version as the desktop build. Point it at fishy.moe and your scores submit exactly as they would from the native one. Needs WebAssembly and WebGL, which every current browser has.
neomod ships every non-vanilla mod protected: play with one and the client refuses to submit the score, on any server, by its own choice. A server can lift that per mod. fishy lifts 18 of them at login, 12 more were never gated, and 5 stay refused even here.

Its own engine, not a modified osu!: SDL_gpu rendering (D3D12 on Windows, Vulkan on Linux, OpenGL optional) and incredibly low-latency audio
Online leaderboards, multiplayer rooms, spectating, and a full replay viewer with instant replay (F2)
In-game map downloads, and imports of collections, maps, scores and settings from an existing osu! install
Pixel-perfect skins, CJK and Unicode support, and large performance gains over stable
FPoSu: the whole playfield in first person
Over 30 gameplay mods osu! cannot express: Timewarp at any rate, AR / CS / OD / HP overrides, Mafham, Shirone, Minimize, Wobble, Jigsaw, Ming3012, HalfWindow, No100s / No50s, Mirror, FadingCursor, ReverseSliders, StrictTracking, Singletap, NoPausing, FreezeFrame, Nightmare and more, plus a choice of notelock (neomod, stable or lazer)

fishy.moe integration
Protocol 128 handshake on login: neomod unlocks all of its mods and any custom speed for fishy, and they submit as ordinary scores
Score submission is switched on by the server (x-mcosu-features: submit=1), so there is nothing to type in the console
Every score records its real mod state from the neomod-mods side channel, which a plain scores table cannot hold; other neomod players see those mods on the leaderboard through the 17th token their client reads
The Team leaderboard filter (the fifth one in song select) works, backed by fishy clans
A map fishy lacks is fetched from the player who has it (packet 132 and /web/neomod-submit-map.php), pinned by md5, so no score sits at 0pp for want of a file
A live websocket at wss://c.fishy.moe/ws/ replaces the 1 to 5 second poll, and a browser build can log in too (CORS preflight and cho-token exposed)
In-game map downloads come from the hinai mirror, the same mirror neomod already integrates with
Nothing is flagged, restricted, hidden or scored differently: fishy labels, it does not punish
How to use
Download the build for your platform from neomod.net and unzip it anywhere.
In the options, set the server to fishy.moe and log in with your fishy.moe account (create one on dev.fishy.moe if you have none).
Play. fishy switches score submission on at login, every mod submits, and your scores land on the leaderboards with their real mods attached.

Now mirrored on fishy.moe storage as well, so the build survives if osekai goes down. The osu! binaries are untouched and ppy-signed; only a bundled repair shortcut that leaked the original packager's PC details was removed. The alternate Discord CDN mirror was taken down after going offline in 2025, leaving osekai.net as the canonical upstream source.
Feature comparison
Cheat features across the active and under-maintenance clients
dev.fishy.moe is a special playground for testing & developing unreleased cheats to apply in future for kawata.pw. It runs a kawata backend with customizations, mostly from bancho-prism by miracle, plus bancho.py-ex. The backend is fully reworked and rewritten for this purpose, so it stands as a "sister" build of kawata dedicated to testing.
To connect a cheat or osu! client for testing, launch osu! with the -devserver fishy.moe switch, then log in with your fishy.moe account. The server runs fully over HTTPS, so the client reaches it on the standard bancho subdomains without extra setup. Full steps are on the dev.fishy.moe rules and connection guide.
Need to host or back up your cheat?
Beyond testing, we can also host a download URL for your cheat on fishy.moe. If your own mirror link breaks or you do not run a server, we can store a backup so others can still use your work. Everything we host lives under fishy.moe/download, where each cheat gets its own stable link. The tuyosu entry above is one example: with the developer's permission it now ships from a stable fishy.moe/download/tuyosu link that will not expire. Get in touch if you want the same for your client.
osu!Mirrors
A few free osu! tools on hinamizawa.ai, strictly non-cheating utilities for legit play and exploration:
Which osu! cheat clients still work on current osu!kawata?
The clients listed as active above (Arc, Tung Tung Patcher, and the paid loader OSU!RISE) run on current osu!kawata. The under-maintenance and legacy archive sections cover clients that are temporarily down, broken, or discontinued (osu!rx is now archived). Always read a client's status before downloading.
Where can I download osu! cheats besides MPGH and UnKnoWnCheaTs?
Most osu! cheats get passed around on forums like MPGH and UnKnoWnCheaTs, where links rot and reuploads can carry malware. This archive points each client at its original source where one still exists, and marks dead downloads so you do not chase broken or unsafe mirrors.
Is using an osu! cheat client bannable?
On the official osu! servers, yes: cheating breaks the rules and gets the account banned. That is why private servers like fishy.moe, kawata.pw, and atoka.pw exist, allowing modified clients within their own rules so you can test and play openly.
Which servers allow cheating?
fishy.moe, kawata.pw, and atoka.pw permit modified clients (see the fishy.moe server rules for the exact policy). Never use these clients on the official osu! servers.
Are osu! cheat clients safe, or are they viruses?
The clients listed here are not inherently malware, but reuploads passed around outside their original source are often tampered with or bundled with extra payloads. Scan any download on VirusTotal before running it, and prefer the original developer's release where one still exists.
What is tuyosu and can I still download it?
tuyosu was a short-lived osu! client by noemi, now discontinued. With the developer's permission we mirror the last working build on our own storage so it does not disappear, free to download from the fishy.moe downloads page.
What is the best free osu! cheat client?
Arc is the standout free standalone with Maple-style aim assist, relax and timewarp, and Aeris is the free Kawata client. OSU!RISE is the main paid option if you want tap assist and Enlighten on top.
Is there a free alternative to OSU!RISE?
Yes. OSU!RISE is a paid subscription loader, so if you want a free option, Arc and Aeris both cover aim assist, relax and timewarp at no cost. OSU!RISE still adds tap assist, Smart DKS and its Enlighten mode.
What osu! cheats work on the legacy b20220424 build?
osu!rx is the relax and aim hack for the frozen osu! b20220424 client, and older osu!rx-era DLL cheats like Auto Assist Megumi targeted the same build. You can download the b20220424 base client from our downloads page.
What osu! cheats have been discontinued?
The Legacy section preserves retired clients including AQN, Auto Assist Megumi, Skooter, Abypass, Ainu, tuyosu, Saturn, Clarity, Lycoris, OsuAuth and Iceware, kept with their original sources so the history is not lost.
What is pawclient and where do I download it?
pawclient is the standalone osu! client for the Pawtoka private server (pawinput.xyz), built by miracle as a cheat-permissive osu!atoka revival. It is an active build you can download from our downloads page.

Owner of AQN Revived V3 and Moderator at maple.software. Provided multiple screenshots for old and otherwise-lost clients, including Maple, Auto Assist Megumi, Saturn, Lycoris, and OsuAuth, plus background history on maple.software not otherwise publicly documented, design lore behind the AQN and Megumi websites, and the megumi.dev ownership situation (owned and maintained by czapek, not kat).
Sandboxed the unofficial freedom v0.98 fork that fishy.moe was mirroring and found it doing far more than a cheat has any reason to, then brought the report to us. The build we were serving turned out to be byte-for-byte the sample he tested. It was pulled the same day, and the people who would have downloaded it next never had to find out the hard way. Then, on launch day, tested Tung Tung Patcher, ran it through Triage and provided the in-game captures the archive shows. u_u in game, Lucas on Discord.
Original owner of Fuquila and alumni Backend Developer at Kawata. Now Solo Developer and Maintainer of Arc, with many contributions to other osu! projects around the community.
Flagged the Auto Assist Megumi revival link as dead and dangerous during a community review, prompting its removal from this archive, and provided a final build from Kat's team for backup, archival, and testing purposes.
kaury
Provided rare footage and screenshots of old and otherwise-lost clients: a live capture of the Clarity forum and Discord, a developer build of Auto Assist Megumi, and an in-client shot of Saturn.
Developer of Malice, a DLL-inject client in active development, and the source of the oldest AQN V1 material in this archive: the winged loader login window, the module list behind it, and an early eagle mark.
Jackson
Co-creator of Chloe, and the reason its entry is first-hand rather than reconstructed: he confirmed that it was never properly released, corrected the record on its lost logo, and supplied the developer captures and the tutorial video.
727
Former moderator of hq.af's Discord, and the reason hqOsu is in this archive at all. They surfaced the client, the surviving hqOsu-neko fork and the still-running community server, then ran the eight-year-old build themselves to capture the only console screenshots we have of it.

Windows installer (.exe, about 4.6 MB). Starts your own osu!.exe with -devserver for the server you pick, waits for it to load, then injects the runtime patch. Updates itself from the developer's updater, so the download link always hands you the latest build. Windows only: it is written on .NET Framework, and a .NET port that could run on Linux is a maybe, in the developer's words.

Play on Pawtoka
Pawtoka (pawinput.xyz) is miracle's cheat-permissive osu! private server, a revival of osu!atoka. pawclient connects to it out of the box. No account? Grab the client, sign up, and play.
Not flags but values, packed as floats beside the bitmask. Off is -1 for difficulty and exactly 1.0 for speed.
AR0 to 12.5, and below 0
CS0 to 12.1, and below 0
HP0 to 12.5
OD0 to 12.5
Speed0.05x to 2.5x
The asymmetry is real and is theirs, not ours: the handshake unlocks the AR, CS and HP overrides and leaves OD protected, so a lowered hit window still refuses to submit while a lowered approach rate does not. fishy labels every one of these on the score rather than hiding it, and none of them changes what a play is worth.
Dev version has been updated to 64-bit and modern .NET 8.
Slightly better Windows integration for shortcuts and notifications.
Can run more stably and smoothly depending on the system.
Very experimental; performance is not guaranteed and depends on the system.
Kept alive on fishy.moe
Noted by Hinamizawa
This client is fishy.moe's own. Aeris is maintained by Hinamizawa and distributed from fishy.moe, with its own live update server, so every install keeps itself current. TheFantasticLoki is its lead developer, currently on break. The old Kawata download URL (storage.kawata.pw) remains offline.
storage.kawata.pw has been down since June 2, 2026.
Since June 27, 2026, fishy.moe has hosted Aeris, now its official home, and it is fully available at fishy.moe/download/aeris.

Can this program play the edits I make?
Yes. All edits you do in the editor will automatically be updated to the player of the program.
Editing my own plays seems scary! Is it easy to be banned?
As long as you edit your own replays it will be fine. So far no one has been banned from using their own replays.
Is it hard to edit replays?
No. It's very easy to use once you learn a few simple things.
Does it work in multiplayer and/or tournaments?
Yes.
How do I buy the program?
I prefer paypal as a payment method, feel free to offer something you deem as equal payment.
Will I need to do any setup for the program?
No. You can simply just run it and it will work.

A hash comparison naming the last two Megumi builds said to still be circulating: megumi_final.dll (archived here, hash-verified byte for byte) and megumi_osu.dll (unconfirmed, never actually shared). The Discord-sourced build's aim assist panel: the same enabled / slider assist toggles, plus an advanced mode toggle and an algorithm control, here set to “controlled”, that the archived megumi_final.dll menu above doesn't have. The loader's status bar carries a farewell from the original team: “R.I.P megumi | kat, cherry & eee (polish guy) | we had fun while it lasted <3”.The same panel with the algorithm switched to “gravity”: it swaps in assist speed and assist range sliders in place of the single algorithm slider shown in the “controlled” capture above, so it isn't a single fixed option but a set of interchangeable modes.
Developer build · 1A developer build of the megumi.dev client (active user “developer”, dated 16 October 2022). Its tab bar adds “rewrite” and “misc” tabs the other captures don't show, and the aim assist panel carries a “debug overlay” toggle alongside enabled, slider assist, advanced mode, and assist power. A compiled Shaymi build is being kept by fishy.moe, but we do not have the developers' permission to release it, so it stays archived (unreleased) here for now while we wait on their word.

A short screen recording has since recovered far more of Clarity than that single thread. The site lived at clarity.moe: a minimalist black starfield splash screen showing the wordmark "clarity" and two links, forum and discord. The forum ran on XenForo.

Presets(later build): create, save and pick named configurations, which the earlier build had no equivalent of
Discord RPC spoofer(later build): a toggle and a username field, so the Discord presence osu! broadcasts could be rewritten
Replay Bot(later build): pick a replay file and play it back as input, with an "Interpolate frames" option
Miscellaneous: Disable score submission in both builds, joined in the later one by Block spectators and Prevent RTX

The loader, and the only part of Chloe that was ever its own window. Note the title bar: it presents itself as Sublime Text. It greets the account by name, states the tier as administrator with a subscription that never expires, and adds a crude one-liner that is left to the screenshot. DLL-injected osu! cheat by Ciremun, originally posted on UnKnoWnCheaTs in 2023. Its GitHub repo spent years offline and is live again as of July 2026, with fresh commits upstream. The official builds stay mirrored on fishy.moe; the v0.98 fork was pulled after it turned out to be compromised.
DLL. The official builds bundle freedom_injector.exe. Any injector like Extreme Injector also works.
Extra
Base client optional. Some users run freedom on a base osu! build like (hosted here), others just inject into their normal client.

The Taiko/CTB bug: During the transition from V1 to V2, an Enlighten update by Rumoi broke Taiko rendering. For reasons unknown, nearly every cheat client that followed inherited the same Taiko bug, and a similarly odd CTB bug, except Ainu. A later alternative fix attempt helped, but never fully resolved it.

Added an auto checker for 'suspicious' presses. You can find it by pressing f1 while in the editor
The tool shipped its own detector, so an edit could be checked before it was submitted.
23/04/2017
Added mode where it shows the previous, current and next frame as squares.Toggle it with the 4 key.
Made it so edited frames are indicated by the time turning a cream colour.
17/05/2017
Made it so old replays with horrible polling rate are not allowed to be played. (Right now I set it to 1/1/2014, if anyone knows the date the replay polling was changed feel free to tell me).
Removed osu skins as I feel the default I have created is best for a smooth editing experience.
Skin support arrives in February and is taken back out in May.
28/05/2017
Added mouse support in the editor+player.
Also added touchscreen mode which can be enabled/enabled in the same new menu, Once again do not enable this option if you are not a touchscreen player or bad things will happen.
Holding shift while pressing z or x now edits the M1 and M2 instead of the K1 and K2.
3/06/2017
Updated the entire editor to look a lot nicer. ( like a lot)
Changed it so you can only edit mouse inputs with mouse mode enabled.
9/06/2017
Pressing m while on the first frame of a press will enter a mode that will help with fixing miss aims.
A dedicated mode for repairing a missed aim, not just a missed press.
17/06/2017
Added pre-emptive press miss detection.
I also added a option in the f1 menu to enable more expensive micro calculations. If you have any problems with some fringe cases enable this. The early miss timings are so huge that it needs to recalc like half the map sometimes.
20/06/2017
You can now use any keys as key1 and key2.
Letter-boxing is full supported.
These both update automaticaly so you dont have to close osu to update the letterboxing/keys anymore.
15/07/2017
Improved mouse pressing performance. Also enabled mouse pressing by default, If anyone has any issues with this send me a message.
Added smoke. This is disabled by default because smoke makes osu lag its shit from fading each particle but you can find it in the mouse options of the editor.
27/07/2017
Added tooltips in the F1 menu.
Changed UI slightly.
The original GitHub repo is online again, so the safest source is now Ciremun's own freedom repo: build it yourself, or take a build from its Releases. The free-osu mirror still matches v0.94.3 if you want to compare. The fishy.moe downloads above are our scanned mirrors of the builds we host; any other forum reupload can carry a tampered build, so scan it yourself (VirusTotal, Hybrid Analysis) before injecting.
