An osu! patcher mod by aftery: you drag osu!.exe onto the patcher and it rewrites the assembly. Open source under GPL-2.0, developed across about six weeks in late 2021, and archived by its own author. Its repository description reads, in full, "bad".- Status: Archived · Author says detected on Bancho · Repository archived by its author
- History Preview: fishy.moe/jamalhack
- Maintainer: aftery (sole developer). Credits ae_ for the original codebase and xmmv for cleanup.
- Download: none, and deliberately not linked. Jamalhack was published as source rather than as a build, and this list does not host or link cheat source code.
- Lifespan: 25 August 2021 to 8 October 2021, 18 commits.
- Cheats:
- Rate changer (timewarp) on Page Up and Page Down in steps of 0.05, with an optional pitch shift
- Flashlight removal, presented by the author as a streamproofing feature
- Spectator buffering, the "no spectators" behaviour
- A HWID changer
- Removal of the pause delay
- A touch device flag
- Other features:
- Extra skinnable elements, for example songselect-bottom and menu-copyright
- A score submission dialog: Enter confirms, Backspace cancels, so a play can be withheld after it is set
- Configurable Discord rich presence
- A taikomania fix
- Home reloads the config without restarting
- A safe mode, an osu! update toggle, and an option to hide the console window
Note
osu! is protected with Eazfuscator.NET, so a patcher cannot simply read the assembly. Jamalhack carried HoLLy-HaCKeR's EazDecode as a submodule to decode the obfuscated symbol names. Worth knowing what that tool actually does: by its own author's account it does not break the protection, it only decrypts symbols you already have the password for, which is useful mainly where a password has leaked. The obfuscation was the obstacle, and working around it was a precondition for the mod existing at all.

Note
One feature flag is named Circleguard outright, and the author claimed the rate changer "should work on circleguard". The interesting part is not the timewarp, which is ordinary, but that it was built with replay analysis explicitly in mind. The author also stated it was tested against Bancho, Ainu and Ripple.

Warning
The author's own first line is that it is detected on Bancho and should not be used there. A follow-up private repository was named for anticheat updates and additional features; it returns 404, so it is either private or gone. Treat this entry as history, not as something to run.
