Free relax bot and timewarp loader for osu!stable by hq.af, released in 2018 and one of the most downloaded osu! cheats of its era. hq.af lost the source and stopped updating it; the community fork hqOsu-neko carried it for another year. The fork still runs in 2026 on the 2021 osu! build it fetches for itself, but its private-server switcher is dead, so what is left is a museum piece you can only play alone.
- Status: Legacy / Archive · Source lost · Fork still runs · Server switcher dead
- Version: v2.0.0.0-rc (September 4, 2018); hqOsu-neko v2.2.0.0.0 (July 21, 2021)
- History Preview: fishy.moe/hqosu
- Maintainer:
hq.af (creator of the original cheat · stopped updating after losing the source),
Cherry (hqOsu-legacy and the "DLL" file · also behind Ainu),
Hazuki-San/Aoba (hoaqDLL and some addons), and
Kinue72 (hqOsu-neko, the unofficial fork that kept it compatible into 2021) - Download: fishy.moe/download/hqosu (v2.0.0.0-rc, mirrored here)
- Download (legacy):
- GitHub releases (hq-af/hqOsu) (all 14 builds, original source)
- hqOsu-neko v2.2.0.0.0 (Kinue72) (the fork's last build, linked not mirrored, see the note below)
- Discord: hq.Community (unofficial community server, established August 2018, still up)
- Source (open source):
- github.com/hq-af/hqOsu (original repo, last commit June 2020)
- github.com/Kinue72/hqOsu-neko (the fork, last commit July 2021)
- Format: Loader executable that attaches a console to osu!stable.
- Cheats:
- Relax bot
- Timewarp (the TimeWrapper plugin)
- Approach Rate changer
- unMod plugin (removes HD and FL)
- Passport module (HWID spoofer and unban tool)
- In-client console with
reload, hide, detachand afix-synccommand that symlinks around Sync PPCounter issues
- Other features:
- hqOsu-neko only: downloads and runs its own osu! build (b20210520.2), so it never touches your install
- hqOsu-neko only: every feature is set in a plain text config file, reloadable in place with the console's
reloadcommand - hqOsu-neko only: SaveMe, a teleport-limited miss saver that logs how many certain deaths it avoided per play
- hqOsu-neko only: Incognito Mode, which hides your identity from Discord RPC and live streams
- hqOsu-neko only: customisable Discord Rich Presence, on by default
- hqOsu-neko only: Bongo Cat compatibility
- hqOsu-neko only: not blocked on Ainu, where the original would crash
- hqOsu-neko only: free osu!direct and a private-server switcher shipped in the config and are both dead as of September 2026
Warning
hq.af's own README is one line long about this: "Don't use on bancho." It only ever worked on the osu!stable of its day, it has had no security work since 2020, and it ships an HWID spoofer. Treat it as a museum piece, run it on a private server that allows it, and scan the binary yourself first.

Contributed by 727: The first two captures below were taken by 727, a former moderator of hq.af's Discord, who ran the client again to document it roughly eight years on. In the first shot the Windows username has been painted out of the title-bar path; everything else, including the build folder that identifies it as Cherry's hqosu-legacy line, is untouched. 727 also recalls that hq.af is French, that he stopped updating hqOsu after accidentally deleting the source, and that Cherry maintained it afterwards until complaints wore the project down. That last part is community recollection, not a documented account.

Provided by u_u (Lucas): u_u ran both lines against a current osu! on September 9, 2026. hq.af's original build does not start. The fork does: hqOsu-neko pulls down its own osu! b20210520.2, reads every setting out of a plain config file, and Relax, Timewarp, the AR changer and unMod all work, with its custom Discord presence alongside. What does not work is the part that mattered: the private-server switcher and free osu!direct are both dead, so the fork can play but cannot connect to fishy or to anything else. That is why this entry moved to Legacy / Archive, and the last four captures below are his.
Note
Confirmed by Cherry: Asked on September 10, 2026 whether the hqOsu-legacy line had source code behind it, Cherry answered: "nope I edited it by hand in dnSpy". So the legacy line was never a source fork. It is hq.af's compiled DLL, opened in a .NET decompiler and patched by hand, which is how everyone who kept hqOsu alive after 2018 has had to work on it. The source really is gone, and this is the closest thing to a confirmation the archive is going to get.

We mirror hq.af's v2.0.0.0-rc build here because his account has been banned once before and the repo is the only copy. We deliberately do not mirror the hqOsu-neko build: its executable carries its author's Windows username inside the compiled debug path, and stripping that would mean altering a binary people verify by hash. The link above points at Kinue72's own GitHub release instead.

hqOsu v2.0.0.9-rc booting its console beside osu!, signed by hq.af#2983 and pointing at the community Discord. The title bar shows it running from an hqosu-legacy-master build, Cherry's line of the client.

The help command: reload, exit, clear, hide, detach, and fix-sync, which symlinks around issues with the Sync PPCounter.

hqOsu-neko in 2026. The banner reads v1.3.3.7-rc fork by Kinue#8888 and names the osu! build it fetched for itself, b20210520.2. Below it, the same six commands the 2018 console had, then the play log: Relax on, and how many certain deaths SaveMe avoided each round.

The fork has no menu: everything is this file. Relax with its key mapping, offsets and miss radius, SpeedHack, ARMod, UnMod, the Discord presence strings, Bongo Cat keys and Incognito. The last two sections are named after the people who wrote them, KinueExtra holding the server switcher and AobaExtra holding free osu!direct, which is the maintainer list showing up in the config.

Running, and alone. The play is fine, and the strip along the bottom says Connection failed, will keep retrying: the server switcher in the config no longer connects, so the fork plays offline and nothing it does leaves the machine.

The custom Discord presence, filled from the config's Discord section: the client renames itself, and the hover text is whatever the file says.
